                He's cute. Really. And luckily, his room is like ten steps away from ours (for more in between breaks-*grin*). Somewhat shallow, I guess, but just enough to have that little *kilig* everyday.

                "Ito ang teleserye ng totoong buhay."

                A one-liner that's evidently full of crap and shit.  Obviously the pre-eminence of a new pop culture has instigated the birth of a new breed of television shows in our country. Yes, scripts, and long mapped-out lines are curtailed for reality projects which are considered to be more personal, natural, and true-to-life. Among this so called real life shows is ABS-CBN's version of Big Brother which recently ended its second season. A big teleserye.  A simulation of reality filled with excessive plots and features.

                So how real really is the show? Just think of teleseryes. Living in a house ruled by an all-powerful voice is the big plot. The evictees are the villains, the ones who never get enough sympathy and empathy from the viewers. The big winner is the protagonist, the one who gets all the sympathy. And as for the big happy ending, just think of fame and all the prizes that the big winner gets to take after the show. So much for a grand dramatic production.

                I slept for almost ten hours which is like an odd thing na for me. Consti break! And surprisingly may time ako to write something (for more ranting and blabbing talaga). Pero sa totoo lang, sa one month ko sa law school, I've learned na there's no room for ranting and procrastinating pag dating sa mga cases and readings. Isipin mo na lang ung time na masasayang, you could have read two cases na kesa mag-rant at magreklamo.

                I'm a very emotional person and I always get that sense of sympathy and pity whenever I do watch the news or see something in the streets. I easily get affected whenever there are instances na may lolo or may batang nalilimos. Naiispip ko kasi, dapat si lolo with his old age ay nagpapahinga na at nagre-relax sa bahay or ung bata naman dapat nasa school at natututo magbasa. And yes, the world is probably uncontrollable, but we can do little things that can ease up all the suffering. There's always a room for servitude at siguro balang araw I can do something kahit super liit- ung tipong masasabi kong I've done something meaningful for others. Idealistic ata pero attainable nman (eto ay manifestation na kahit papano ay may superman complex rin ako tulad ng iba). I'll be a hypocrite pag sinabi kong I didn't go to law school for the lucrative aspect of the legal profession, pero sa totoo lang I'm also considering the human rights aspect of it.  Isipin mo na lang, our country boasts of democracy and rule of law pero sa panahon ngayon  ung mga indigenous cultural communities natin ay nakaka-experience pa rin ng discrimination gaya ng sa probinsya raw pag sumasakay sila ng jeep, hindi sila pwede sa loob kaya sa bubong sila sumasakay. Just imagine kung gaano ka-delikado ung ganoon for kids and women.
